Just to answer the grumbling horders, we’ll the Ayars at least ! I did get out for a few bits an pieces, no long bike rides unforetunatley but maybe on Wednesday.
Next week I’l be up skiing so that will be good for the quads ! I’ll take the heart rate monitor so you can all watch the up and downs. You can usually pick the big stacks too, from the heart rate spike and the halt in altitude changes.
Better fill in my Tagged post soon too ! Still trying to remember what I first thought about Bronwen

Now that the tour is over and I won’t stay up so late ! It’s time to get back out there. Shame about Cadel not getting those few more seconds but a great result anyway !
Aiming for a walk tomorrow morning and then a ride on Wednesday. Going skiing in a couple of weeks so that will really kill me as I haven’t been doing enough ! Oh well, it will still be fun !

For all you people getting a bit too bored but hopefully don’t go with the headphones on your bike.
Check out this interesting iPod dock,

apart from Brad having to blast the Burke-Gillman with some “tasteful” music from his younger days, it could make for an interesting ride.

Finally got the heart rate monitor uploaded and then typed everything across. Being a mac guy makes it a touch harder as I can’t get the IR reader to work in Parallels so I have to reboot into Windows (Yuk!) and then upload from the watch. Once the data’s in it’s back to OS-X (ahh!) and then pop open the Polar software in parallels and start to enter it in Safari. Simple, really !
Can’t wait till uploads of data are going, no sleep for Jeff and Brad ! Actually, wasn’t too bad to enter it all in, good system guys !

It’s been a touch busy the last couple of days. Finally got around to fitting new tyres to my city bike, at 11:30pm last night. That meant I could take Cadell to school on the tag-along and then head down for Pilates, finish off the kinder newsletter, then pick him up after lunch. Luckily, although it was pretty cold, 5 C, it was nice and sunny. After the usual round of house jobs, washing, dinner, etc, it was off to school to pickup Declan and then up to their swimming class, in the car this time.
Thankfully, they are now both in class at the same time so I can go and have a swim whilst they are bobbing around in their lessons. Managed to get a kilometer in and then make it gasping back to see the end of their lessons. Home after that, to finish tidying up, get dinner, clean up dinner, listen to piano practice, etc. Get the boys into bed, do the shopping list for tomorrow, more washing and update the finances. Phew, I’m exhausted, so the plans of logging all this great exercise in will have to wait until tomorrow after I upload the data from my heart rate monitor, do the shopping, unpack ……

With my wife away, my main exercise time, early mornings, is gone. Oh well, I guess I’ll call this a rest week. Got Pilates and a swim tomorrow so that’s better then nothing. Need to change the flat on my city bike so I can ride there as well ….
